We had to take two of these small man-powered ferries on our way to Sarteneja

We stumbled upon this brackish cenote in Sarteneja where “an alligator lives and where people have found human bones, either from the Mayan sacrifices or the hurricane.”

We spent a day making a trip to the National Belize Zoo. This guy was into playing games — every time you would turn to leave, he would come incredibly close to the netting, but when you turned around, he would retreat after only a couple seconds

Maggy’s favorite animal at the zoo was the Harpy Eagle…Its feet were as big as mine!

Caracol Ruins….we thought it was a good idea to race up these temple stairs. Also, you can see the Guatemala border, only about 3 miles away, from the top of the temple
